New Development of Varnish & Sludge Testing -
VsPI™
|
|
We are pleased to announce our improved technology for Varnish and Sludge
testing method, new testing method called VsPI™.
VsPI™ is our second generation Varnish and Sludge testing method development.
VsPI™ stands for Varnish and Sludge Potential Index ™.
Varnish : Soft contaminants in oils. Insoluble and soluble resins.
Sludge : Soft contaminants in oils. Insoluble and soluble resins and water.
Both varnish and sludge contaminants are caused by oil degradation.
Varnish and Sludge has become a hot topic in the Gas & Steam Turbine of Power
Plant Industry.
- Turbine users have experienced significant varnish -related problem.
- Turbine OEMs are inundated with requested about how to measure their
lubricant’s varnish potential and what measure to take to prevent to the problem.
- Lubricants manufacturers are also getting frequent queries as to why varnish
suddenly become such as epidemic.
VsPI™ is testing for predicting and monitoring varnish & sludge contaminant level
and build-up rate.
Application of VsPI™will be for gas & steam turbine Oils, hydraulic oils,
centrifugal Compressors (air & gas) and clean oil systems.
"Catching Varnish and Sludge Before It Costs You.
Power Plants no longer have to wait for a servo valve and other related valve trip
before identifying and dealing with varnish and sludge in gas and steam turbines ."
